2016 was a remarkable year that included Pace's largest service expansion ever (the I-90 Market Expansion Program), the growth of their real-time information signage program, the launch of their first CNG fueling station and buses, and the addition of more Bus on Shoulder service. They've been busy implementing several projects that provide better service to customers, make the agency a more efficient steward of taxpayer dollars, and encourage additional commuters to make the switch to public transit. IMSA Named Second Best in Nation
Aurora's Illinois Math and Science Academy has been named the second-best public school in the country by a rankings website. The 2017 school listing came from Niche, a website that compiles data to create profiles and rankings of schools, colleges and places to live. Niche also listed IMSA, a selective residential high school that draws students from across the state, as the second-best high school in the country for science, technology, engineering and math. Recently named one of the Top Ten Theatres in Chicago by the League of Chicago Theatres, the Paramount continues to provide world class entertainment - including dance, music, Broadway caliber theatre and children's programming - for an annual audience of 150,000 patrons from over 250 communities. The Paramount's Broadway Series has received critical acclaim from productions such as Miss Saigon and 42nd Street.
