Illinois has launched a Back to Business grant campaign which launched on August 18th. This program has $250 million allocated to aid small businesses across the state. Invest Aurora is assisting businesses like yours in the Greater Aurora area to receive grants ranging from $5,000 to $150,000. Your business could use these funds to cover a wide range of operation, staff, and overhead costs.
Is Your Business Eligible?
Your business could be considered eligible for the grant if your 2019 revenue was less than $20 million and you experienced a reduction in revenue in 2020 due to COVID-19. Priority is being given to especially hard-hit industries and areas.
Even if your business did not qualify for previous state or federal assistance, you may still qualify for this new program!
So What Grants Are Available?
With a total of $250 million in money available, funds have been set-aside for specific industries. $100 million has been allocated for businesses located in disproportionately impacted areas. Our team at Invest Aurora can help you identify if your business is located in one of these areas.
$30 million has been allocated to arts and entertainment businesses, $25 million to restaurants and taverns, $25 million to hotels, and $25 million to businesses that didn’t receive a BIG grant due to exhaustion of funds.
